Lots of News!

Mom realized today when I bit her finger that there was something SHARP in my mouth! My first tooth has come through my gum (front lower left). Lately I've been reaching for things with my mouth rather than my hands... I love to chew!

I'm also becoming an expert at slithering along on my elbows & knees. I can make it across the room in about 30 seconds and I don't stay on my mat, so my parents are having to watch me much more carefully now. Be on the lookout for the video Mom shot today. In it she realizes that I'm pulling myself up into a squat (on my feet!) by hanging onto my turtle. She & Dad know I'll be walking soon.
Here I am with my Uncle C. He & my honorary Auntie came to stay with me one evening this weekend so my Mom & Dad could go out to dinner & a movie. I was very good!

Dad & I picked Mommy up from work and went to the river. Oh, how I love the mud. I sat in the river trying to put handfuls of pebbles & mud into my mouth while Mommy thwarted my every effort. A group of boy campers came and talked to us about the Star Wars movies while we were sitting in the river.

I was pooped afterward & fell asleep in the car.

The steering wheel in my racecar went haywire and started beeping all the time without me having to push the buttons. It started making random beeps while Mom & I were trying to take a nap. Mommy had to fix it by taking out the battery. I still love it, though! I stand in it first thing every day, right after my breakfast & diaper change.

New clothes from Nana in San Francisco. I'm a very well-dressed young man. More photos of ultra-cool kid clothes to come.

Here I am eating oatmeal. I also like carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, & bananas so far. Mommy made me some homemade carrots in her food processor. She says it tastes very good. I eat it, but I always make faces when she puts bites of new things in my mouth! I'm getting better about taking sips of water, too. (Oh, and even though it looks like I'm drinking out of this cup, it only has oatmeal remnants in it... I'm just playing!)

Dad knows exactly how to make me giggle & squeal. Here we are horsing around on his lunch break!

It's Daddy Time!

I like my toy pots & pans!

Check out my new Blue Points soccer ball! Mommy chose this prize just for me.

Daddy let me listen to his wireless headphones (but did not put them in my ears!) I wish he would let me touch his music player!

Oatmeal is so yummy. Thanks Dad!

What Mommy sees as she's leaving for work in the mornings. (Daddy leaves for work at 3 pm, these days, after Mommy gets home.)

Dad says he doesn't know how I ended up with one sock on my foot and one in my mouth, but he had to get the picture!

Happy 4th

Here I am with my dad getting ready to go see the fireworks. Mom was really disappointed because the fireworks got rained out, but Dad told me I'll like it more next year. (Dad's wearing his Captain America tee shirt, by the way. Mine says "Born in 2008.")

Who knew how much fun a bath could be? I even like having water dumped straight onto my head. I scream when they take me out of the tub, though. Don't let the towel picture fool you. I just know to stop yelling and smile for the camera.

Who needs fancy toys when there are spoons and crumbled wads of paper to chew on. Not to mention remote controls and phones. I dive for Mommy's computer, too.

QUACK! Yummy duckie.

Oooh, cereal. I love cereal. I try to grab the spoon though, so Mommy gives me my own to hold.

Yuck. Water. Who wants water. Here, Mom, YOU drink this!

Another Message from Mommy

Hi all,

I wanted to let Eddie's fans know that there will be new pictures and video in the next few days! He ran a low fever over the past weekend and was feeling pretty bad. He is back to grinning & squealing now, but it was brutal on his poor parents.

Just last night, though, he was motivated by the promise of biting the TV remote to scootch forward on his belly about 6 inches. I enthusiastically told him what a great job he did, but he was too pleased to finally have the remote in his mouth to try to understand what Mom was jabbering about.

Check back for more Eddie stuff by this weekend!

Smiley Face

I'm really getting the hang of this "smile for the camera" stuff. It makes Mommy so happy when I do. I love to see how silly she acts when I really show my gums!

These are the cakes my mom made and decorated for her friend's baby shower.

My butt is nice and clear now, but Mom's still letting me hang out in the nude. I'm about to start crawling!
