Visiting with my Family

I had a great time visiting with Popo & Granny. They made me laugh a lot. I also slept through my first trip out to a restaurant and through several innings of a Durham Bulls game. I could have kept on going when I woke up, but all the grown-ups were tired!

Here I am getting ready to go to the farmers' market with Mom & Dad.

I really like to watch the cars go by outside my front door. I'll stare at them for as long as my parents are willing to hold me up!

Here I am at my cousin's house in Durham... I loved meeting everyone (and was fascinated by the fishtank!)

I'm finally settling into my carrier again. Mom & Dad took me to the exotic animal show at the NC fairground today. I was really fascinated by the big bright birds. I also saw bunnies, hamsters, frogs, ferrets, snakes, lizards, spiders, a kangaroo, a skunk, and even an elephant!

I'm getting very good at pushing up and looking around, and I can roll over, too, but here's a video of me rolling over by accident!

I'm Gonna Be a Cousin

I'm so excited about my new cousin-to-be! Thanks Auntie B & Uncle J; I can't wait to have a friend my age to play with on the Goodranch! I've got so much to look forward to. Right now, I can't wait for Granny & Popo to arrive in NC so we can go to my first baseball game. Mommy can't wait for them to see how funny I am!

A Conversation Between Me & My Parents

Mommy & I just walked in from work & daycare & this is the conversation we had:

Eddie: Uh uh aaaaahhhhhh!!!

Mommy: Oh, good Eddie, I wanted some pictures of you screaming so I can show you when you're older. Hold on. Let me get the camera!

Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

Great! That's very genuine... just a few more wails! Aaaaaaaaah!

Huh? What are you doing Mommy? Are you yelling, too?

Yep, don't stop! Oh, you're so cute. Come on WAAAAAA!

Mommy, you're FUNNY! Do it again! Hahaha! Silly Mommy.

Wait, hold on, whoa, wasn't I yelling about something? Wasn't I grumpy???

What Eddie? More crying? Ok, Waaaaaa!

Mommy, why are you doing that? Aren't you supposed to be picking me up and snuggling me now?

Dad, where'd you come from? Why's Mommy yelling?

Dad: I don't know, boy, but you two sure do talk alot.

Yeah, and in no time I'll be able to tell you what's wrong with me rather than wail about it & expect you to read my mind, so enjoy it while you can!

I'm 3 Months Old Tomorrow!

Hi everybody. Mom & Dad thought I was so cute in my shorts & hat this morning that they were both late leaving the house. I was all dressed up for cookout day at daycare. It's been so nice & warm, but it's supposed to become cold & rainy again this weekend. The weather can't seem to make up its mind. I've finally gotten to wear some of my shorts, though. I had so much fun but I was too tired to even sleep when they picked me up. I was full & dry, but I was so tired & grumpy that I refused to be rocked to sleep by either Mom or Dad... so I fell asleep with my back arched in my swing. I have also graduated from using the reclining sling in my bathtub. I got so long that my legs were hanging off. Mom just props me up in the water now. We'll take some pictures next time I take a bath.

My Traffic Cone

Mom & Dad have been debating whether or not I'm ready to venture out in my "cone." (When Mom bought it, Dad told her that safety orange made it look like a traffic cone.) As long as I'm not stationary, I love it! Here I am zooming around my house.
