Congratulations Uncle Chris & Aunt Angel

We went to Charlotte the weekend before Chris & Angel left for Las Vegas and stayed in a hotel with an indoor swimming pool. It was supposed to be heated, but we think it was not.

Eddie and his dad did enjoy the hot tub.

We had to stop at Barnes & Noble and play with Thomas.

We went apple-picking at Sky Top again. Since then we've had apple cobbler, several batches of apple sauce, and Granny Faye's apple cake. We will go again in mid-October, when the Fujis are ripe.

When I got home from Angel's bridal shower, I discovered Eddie and Kyle had been playing "war paint" in the style of Braveheart.

The Build-A-Bear chef's hat. And yet, we're still struggling with the Davy Crockett coonskin.

Chris and Angel came to visit before Labor Day and we went out to Lake Julia. Even though it was the hottest part of summer here, it just isn't hot enough to swim much for a native Texan.
Eddie had to be captured afterward.

While Kyle, Angel, and Chris climbed up Triple Falls, I had my hands full trying to keep Eddie out of the water.
