From Snow to Short Sleeves

Eddie has learned some really sweet and funny things. My favorites are his kisses. When he feels like it, he blows kisses "bye-bye." I think he learned that from Trinity. He also gives big wet smooches when you say "Eddie, can I have a kiss?" Again, only when he feels like it. He consistently beelines for the bathroom if anyone mentions a bath.

Lately we've been taking him to stores to walk around when it's too cold or wet to go outside. We discovered in Wal-Mart when we went for our fishing licenses that Eddie likes to push shopping carts. Now we can just take him to the store, nudge the cart so it's pointed pointed in the right direction, and let him go. We just can't spend too long trying to choose what brand of peanut butter to buy, because the cart will keep on going down the aisle. This backfired on the playground when a nice lady let Eddie push her baby carriage around. When it was time to stop, I got a terrifying preview of the terrible two's!

He loves to give his animals rides on Buck and Black Truck. He almost always needs a stuffed buddy or two these days. At Luanne's house he has Brown Puppy now. He even picked up a big brown stuffed bear in Wal-Mart, still twist-tied to its cardboard package, and started hugging and talking to it.
